"My residency at the CCFA was completely invaluable. I chose to come to Corning at a major turning point in my careers work. Being an established exhibiting painter of over 10 years, Corning allowed me an opportunity to have a very focused and intensive studio environment that helped me make the transition in my work very easily. While respecting my goals and privacy, everyone at the art center and in the Corning community was generously welcoming. I felt very at home in my Corning "art retreat.""

Corning Center for the Fine Arts has really shocked me. It's very proactive for the artists who display there, and it's customer base is like no other that I have experienced before. I have had shows in many of the larger metropolitan areas, even right in the center of the "art scene", and I have sold more pieces at Corning in a very short amount of time than all other places combined. I want to thank you very much for your support!

I just wanted to say thank you for having me there almost 4 years ago. It really boosted my confidence as a young artist and gave a new direction to my work. I just started graduate school last week. The resident program at CCFA was the beginning of my portfolio for graduate school. My time at CCFA gave me the time and space to focus on my art and myself. I hope you continue the valuable program for artists. Thank you.
